"Great Resource for Bullying Lesson Plans & Activities..."

Safety Education Alliance of America recognizes that bullying prevention is a primary concern in keeping our young people safe in today's world. We have created these handbooks to appeal to a wide range of students with topics, activities, and questions that make it easy for self study or the development of anti-bullying lesson plans. Rich in content and anti-bullying activities, these materials are designed to challenge our young people to think about their decisions. We have kept the cost low and the quality high so each student can receive and retain their own handbook.

In a time where bullying activities rang from kids shooting other kids, to public harassement, to internet stalking, bullying prevention has never been more necessary.

What Makes You, YOU! (3rd - 4th Grade)

In today’s world, it is becoming increasingly hard to instill values into our children. They are continually bombarded by images and messages that focus on physical beauty and outward appearance. This book focus on respect and character building, with a special section on bullying prevention. The student handbooks, complete with materials and activities, make it easy for the educator to create respect and anti-bullying lesson plans. The character building and anti bullying activities continue to reinforce the idea that young people are in charge of their own actions, and with those actions come consequences or accolades, depending on the decision they make.

A book on Character, Control and Bullying Prevention, the concept of "SQUAD" is a model for teen decision making based on the fundamentals of character building, empathy and human dignity. These anti bullying lesson plans bring our young people back to the old addage "treat others as you would like to be treated." In doing so, youngsters begin to see that in acting respectfully to not only themselves but everyone, many of the common difficulties they face are more manageable, and many times corrected. Anti-bullying activities challange teens to think before acting and explores consequences, both negative and positive for decisions they make. Student materials and activities facilitate the easy creation of reponsibility and anti-bullying lesson plans.

Bullying - Who Does Bullying Effect? (Middle School)

Bullying affects everyone. Although there may be only one or two "direct" victims of bullying activities, everyone present is affected by the incident. The witnesses and bystanders may change the way they act or think because of what they have seen. ANYTIME YOU CHANGE YOUR THOUGHTS OR ACTIONS BECAUSE OF FEAR YOU ARE A VICTIM OF BULLYING. The content and activities in the student handbook provide for easymade anti-bullying lesson plans that explore reasons for bullying behavior, create empathy for bullying victims and focus on the ONLY real answer to bullying prevention in our communities.

(5th - 6th Grade)
The Cyber Generation (Middle - High School)

This series addresses a whole new arena of bullying activities via the internet, cell phones and personal data devices. Electronic communication is fast, easy and fun. However, when we communicate electronically, the only message that we get is "verbal." There is no emotion and as a result, young people are learning how to interact with others without emotion. This is spilling over into their daily interactions and causing more and more teens to seem cold, non-feeling and increasingly violent. Addressing this tendency is key to bullying prevention in today's world. Information on staying safe from internet predators is also included. Internet safety and anti-bullying lesson plans are easily made from this student hand book full of great information and student activities.
