At SEAOFA, Inc., we are committed to not only delivering educational materials of the finest quality to reflect favorably on your organization, but we are passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people. As you look through our materials, you will notice that we have taken a different approach to prevention than many other companies.
Our materials are strong on the idea of youngsters being in control of THEMSELVES. Character, Integrity and accountability are all focal pieces of these materials. Our materials also are very heavy on parental involvement, with activities built into each guiding the children to "go get Mom or Dad". Each level of materials builds on the concepts of the one prior. Below you will find a brief synopsis of each grade.
The Safety Education Alliance of America, Inc. offers your organization two options for gaining these materials for your community. You may buy your materials directly from SEAofA, or we offer solicitation services. This is a WIN-WIN situation for your organization. Volume discounts are also available for large orders. Please call for details.
Pre K — Kindergarten - Introducing the idea of responsibility – they are responsible for their own safety and their safety may very well be determined by their own actions. Introduces the concept of strangers but more importantly, identifying BAD BEHAVIOR in both strangers and people they know.
1st Grade — 2nd Grade – Taking the idea of responsibility and adding that they are responsible for their own actions and will have consequences to their choices, both positive and negative, and they have the power to control their outcomes, based on their own actions/decision making.
3rd Grade — 4th Grade – Continuing the discussion of them being in charge of their own actions and having responsibility to themselves and others to make the best possible decisions as the consequences and outcomes do not affect only them. Introducing the idea that they have no control over what others do, or how others think. They only have responsibility and control over themselves.
5th Grade — 6th Grade –Taking the idea of only having control over themselves, their actions and their character and no one can affect their character and integrity. They cannot control others opinions about them with reference to looks, etc., the only opinions of others that they can affect is their reputation ( the consequences of public opinion of what they themselves have done and the decisions that they have made).
Jr. High-High School – Building on the idea that others opinions of them are just that “opinions” not truth, and in this age group of greatest desire to fit in and how peers opinions cause the youngsters to look inside themselves and question who they are and make them feel that they should conform and change to fit others ideas, we will establish the importance of integrity, honor, being true to ones ideals and beliefs and the need for these characteristics as they move through life.
